We first connected up with Katie in November 2022 when we targeted the Wilmington, NC area for our search. We had just spent October researching in the Lake Norman, NC area and Katie was recommended to us by our agent there, Stefania Arrieta.

Planning a five-week trip in March 2023, Katie really listened to what we were looking for. When we finally met her in person we knew right then, if there was a house that matched our top 10 must-haves on our hit list. Katie would find it. At 9:30 PM on a Wednesday night, Katie called, and said a property that she thought might be the one, came back on the market. Katie's knowledge of the entire area and her understanding of our perspective, she had already booked a showing the next morning, gave us the listing info, and we were all in to meet her there.

Understanding there is no perfect 10, this one was a 9 out of 10. There was only one more check mark. It was in a gated golf community and we hadn't played the course.

Booked a tee time for the next day. Played a round, called Katie, and made an offer on a Saturday. On Sunday the offer was accepted and the next issue was trying to get a closing before we were returning back to Western New York.

Targeting 3/31 (19 days) not only did Katie work that out, we actually closed on 3/24 in just 12 days. Coordinating absentee owners, out-of-state lawyers, and a home inspection, pest inspection, and most everything involved in the process was pretty much stress-free for us.

Katie's experience, knowledge, support from her office and the connections with all the required vendors/services to get a closing done was remarkable.

When we returned to Western New York; friends, family, and business associates all wanted to hear about our house. The real story everyone became interested in was how we found "The House" and how we closed in just 12 days.

Working with the Jennifer Bullock team was a great experience. I worked specifically with Katie Kowalski, and I have so much to say about Katie! 

 
Katie has become like family to me over the years. I met her as a happy accident. My dad was looking for a house in Wilmington while living in Florida, and I was his point person to go see the houses for him. Katie happened to respond to an inquiry my dad put in on a house, and we went to meet her and were almost an hour late to the appointment. In our defense, we were new parents to a newborn. Regardless, Katie did not know us or our situation, and she waited in the vacant house for almost an hour past the appointment time. When we arrived almost an hour late, Katie did not even bat an eye. She was so kind and gracious. She made us feel at ease immediately. After that, my dad sent us on one wild goose chase after another, checking out every house in town and making offers sight unseen. Lol!! And Katie never got irritated. She just went along for the ride and was totally focused on being the best agent for her client. We finally found my dad a house, and Katie was a rock star through the closing process with the buyers being out for state. 
 
A year later, my husband and I decided to start looking for our own dream house, and Katie was the obvious choice for an agent. We had kept in touch and remained friends, plus, we had referred her to our friend and she had done an amazing job for her as well so we knew she would once again do an amazing job for us. 
 
Again, she went on so many wild goose chases with us. We looked for a house for almost a year and took her to countless houses that we all knew were not the right fit even before seeing them. But she never got irritated, she never expressed any frustration, and she was always enthusiastic to come with us. As an added bonus, my son absolutely adores her. He grew up seeing her and he loves her and would say “I want to see Katie” after we would go see a house together! 
We finally found our dream house, and the negotiation portion of the deal with Katie was seamless. I have no doubt that she is a big reason ours was the offer picked. 
 
After we purchased our new home, listing our old house with Katie was a no brainer. Our house was under contract in less than 2 weeks, and again, the entire process was seamless. 
 
Needless to say, Katie is amazing. We have recommended her to many family members and friends who have used her and have had the same amazing experience. She is an excellent agent. She is knowledgeable and really cares about her clients. And more importantly, she treats them all as good friends.
